Unplug & Recharge — Spring Edition
Black Hills, South Dakota
May 14–17, 2026
The Intention:
Unplug & Recharge is an invitation to step away from the noise of daily life and into a space designed for rest, reconnection, and meaningful presence.
This retreat is not about fixing, transforming, or pushing past your edges. It’s about slowing down, softening, and remembering what it feels like to be supported — by yourself, by community, and by the environment around you.
Held in the quiet beauty of the Black Hills, this retreat offers gentle structure, nourishing experiences, and spacious time to simply be. Spring in the Black Hills brings longer days, softer light, and a sense of re-emergence — a supportive backdrop for slowing down and reconnecting.
What to Expect:
This is a small-group retreat (7–10 participants), intentionally designed to feel grounded, familiar, and supportive. Participation is always optional.
You can expect:
- Unhurried mornings
- Nourishing meals shared together
- Supportive movement and meditation
- Thoughtful and non-judgemental spaces
- Grounding in nature
- Creative outlets for exploration and expression
- Time alone, if needed
Arrival & Welcome:
You’ll be welcomed with a simple arrival ritual — a refreshing beverage, a thoughtfully curated welcome gift, and time to settle in without rushing.
There’s no formal start time to perform for — just a gentle landing into the weekend and space to arrive in your own way.
-------‐--------------------------
What’s Included:
-- Guided Movement & Rest --
Supportive movement and meditation practices designed to help you settle into your body and release accumulated tension. Practices are accessible and offered with options — no prior experience required.
Two practices are offered daily:
A mid-morning practice to gently wake up the body; An evening restorative practice to unwind and settle before rest.
-- Facilitated Experience / Keynote Session --
A reflective, embodied session centered on acceptance — meeting life as it is and releasing the inner fight when things don’t go according to plan. This experience offers perspective and space for integration rather than instruction or performance.
-- Creative & Sensory Experience --
This retreat includes a guided creative experience designed to invite curiosity, presence, and exploration through the senses. Rather than focusing on outcome or design, this experience emphasizes process and perception — noticing texture, movement, sound, and sensation as a way of listening inward. There is no finished product to perfect and no expectation to share. Participation is always optional, and no prior creative experience is needed.
-- Meals & Nourishment (Included) --
Breakfast and dinner are included and thoughtfully prepared to support ease, energy, and enjoyment. Upscale non-alcoholic beverages available throughout the retreat, and snacks are available between meals as you wish.
Lunch is on your own, creating flexibility in your schedule and space to rest, explore the area, or follow what you need that day
Meals are chef-prepared using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and served as a time for nourishment and optional connection — never rushed, never obligatory.
Please note, this retreat is alcohol-free by design, supporting rest, clarity, and presence.
-- Community & Connection --
This retreat is held as a safe, non-judgemental space, intentionally designed to support ease, respect, and emotional steadiness. It tends to draw women who value depth over display, rest over productivity, and being able to show up without needing to explain or perform.
There are gentle opportunities to gather and connect, alongside plenty of space to step back. Listening — to yourself and others — is valued just as much as sharing.
-- Grounding in Nature --
The Black Hills are known for their quiet forests, winding trails, open skies, and grounding sense of scale — a landscape that naturally invites slowing down.
Grounding in nature is woven into the retreat as an option, not an expectation. You may choose to join a gentle group hike (weather permitting), take a solo walk, sit outdoors with a journal, or simply rest and take in the surroundings.
The intention isn’t distance or accomplishment — it’s orientation. Letting your senses take in fresh air, texture, sound, and light as a way of settling the nervous system and reconnecting with yourself.
-- Evenings at the Retreat --
Evenings are intentionally slow with shared dinners, soft lighting, optional restorative practices, and time to soak, rest, or sit quietly together. There’s nowhere else to be and nothing to catch up on.
