Linda Pitman is the owner of Ataraxis Yoga, in Williston, ND. She is a 200-hour certified Yoga Instructor with an emphasis in restorative yoga practices. After spending almost 2 decades in corporate America, climbing ladders and busting glass ceilings for women, Linda left the oil industry to pursue a personal journey of depth and discovery. Linda is passionate about creating a safe space for others to join in community without judgement and in a place of acceptance. She encourages practitioners, new and seasoned alike, to find what feels good for you in your own, unique practice.
We aim to create experiences that help you reach your goals for personal growth. We offer yoga and meditation sessions suitable for any body type, especially those who are new to the practice.
We practice intentional movement, allowing for non-judgemental observation of the present moment. The act of sensing from the inside out helps to deepen self-awareness, strengthen the capacity for self-compassion, improve emotional intelligence and balance the nervous system. Science has proven that regular use of these grounding practices helps to reduce muscular tension, improving both mobility and flexibility in your body. In a society that is largely focused on doing, dare to embrace the act of being. Find what feels good.
